Timmelsjoch & Top Mountain Crosspoint in the Ötztal Valley
High-altitude, spectacular, unforgettable
The Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road is one of the most impressive mountain passes in the Alps – and one of the few places where you feel as though you’ve truly reached the top. At just under 2,500 metres above sea level, on the border between Tyrol and South Tyrol, it connects two worlds: the rear Ötztal valley with the Passeier Valley. Right at the summit of the pass lies the Top Mountain Crosspoint – Europe’s highest-altitude motorbike museum, which fascinates technology enthusiasts, culture lovers and anyone who appreciates the extraordinary in equal measure.
Accessible directly from Obergurgl
