Local mountain guides will show you trails and spots that you’d struggle to find on your own as a visitor. Many of the guided hikes are free with the Summer Card.

The Hohe Mut Bahn II takes you effortlessly up to 2,670 m every day from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm – and from there offers a panoramic view overlooking the entire Gurgl valley basin. It’s the ideal starting point for high-altitude hikes, with the Hohe Mut Alm offering a cosy place to stop for refreshments right next to the mountain station. The journey is included with the Summer Card.

In summer, Obergurgl also offers via ferrata adventures for the adventurous – with routes to suit both beginners and experienced via ferrata climbers. Via ferrata workshops are a regular feature of the weekly programme in Gurgl during the summer and are often free with the Summer Card.
